To help raise money for the erection and upkeep of the memorial a cookery book has been produced. The book contains recipes contributed by people from all over the world - people for whom Crete is a special place, and who, in common with Tom Dunbabin and Geoff Edwards, value the courage and kindness of the Cretan people in sheltering and aiding the allied troops.
The writing, translation, illustration, design, typesetting, printing and publishing of this book have been undertaken by individuals from the UK, Greece and Germany, all of whom have given their services free of charge.
The book is a bilingual publication, in English and German, costs 1500 GDRS or 4,40 Euro and is available in retail from the Holy Monastery of Preveli and from selected bookstores.
